So in love, day 3 morning visit

Jim arrived at the orphanage today again around 9 AM. It was a pretty special day for him and Gracelynn. Jim fed GraceLynn by himself. When you adopt a child that is older, there are many firsts that you miss... The first time they smile, the first time they sit up, the first tooth and so on. Well, as I have mentioned in an earlier post, Gracelynn
just started eating solid foods last week. Even though it wasn't her first time eating solids, it was one of her firsts and he is so excited that he got to share that moment and make that memory!!!

Jim was also allowed to take her out of the orphanage today, the got to wander to the older kids dormitory, back behind the buildings and sped nearly 4 hours together.

He also had another unique experience when it comes to orphanages, they actually allowed him to help put her down for her nap, and then take pictures of her sleeping....priceless moments. He feels so honored to be so trusted by the staff. I think they are seeing first hand how God weaves hearts together even if you live a half a world apart. As you can tell in the pictures, only our almighty creator could orchestrate this bond so quickly. It is beautiful to watch!!! I think she is a daddy's girl.

  1. That is wonderful that they are letting daddy have so many special moments with Gracelynn. She is beautiful and looks so sweet sleeping. I'm so encouraged with the bond they have already...praying our visits go as well.
